Cotswold Towns

Throughout these pages we explore all of the towns and villages across the Cotswolds. Just how far do the Cotswolds extend? We have used the same definition as the extended Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This starts at Chipping Campden to the north (we have included Shakespeare's Stratford - not to be missed if you are that close). To the west we have Woodstock (the home of Blenheim Palace) and all the way down to Bath in the south. We have also included Gloucester on the edge of the western escarpment.

We have included accommodation: B&Bs, hotels, farms, self-catering houses, apartments and cottages, Youth hostels and camping sites.

Also in these pages you will find guides for eating out, dining (restaurants), pubs and country inns as well as tea shops.

For those wanting to a more energetic experience we have included a variety of walks.

There are hundreds of attractions open to the public in the Cotswolds - we have listed a number of these associated with their nearby towns.

Along with the attractions we have also included a number of historic and delightful churches.
