Chipping Norton
A typical Cotswold Market town, once on the coaching route to London, this town has changed very little since the days of the mail coaches.
Bliss Tweed Mill still dominates the sky line in Chipping Norton and again takes us back to the wool merchants days so redolent in the Cotswolds.
Chipping Norton has an eclectic mix of shops, antique shops, antique marjets and book shops, a weekly market, a plethora of inns and cafes all vying for the visitors trade.

Further Cotswold Accommodation Choices A few miles north of the town you will find the Rollright Stones, this site is well worth a visit and is steeped in folk lore and history, where the legend has it that a future king of England and his knights were turned to stone . The site comprises of a stone circle known as "The Kings Men", an aptly named 'The King Stone' and the remains of a megalithic tomb known quite bewitchingly as the 'The Whispering Knights'.
