Last year's theme was 'Magical Lands' and the maze is in the shape of a giant DRAGON over 200 metres tall! Our unique design is cut into a field of fodder maize and interspersed with over 50,000 sunflowers. Bridges and observation towers offer a magic sight and scenic views across the vale of Evesham and to the Malvern Hills beyond.

Vanessa-Mae, the world famous violin virtuoso, has announced a West Country date next summer when she will be appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum as part of the Forestry Commission’s 2009 concert season. Anthony Inglis will conduct the national Symphony Orchestra and she'll include favourites such as Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor, vivaldi's four Seasons and Khachaturian's Sabre Dance. there'll be the much-loved Last Night of the Proms sequence and the firework finale, with Vanessa Mae and the orchestra giving an electrifying rendition of Vivaldi's classic 'Storm'. Vanessa-Mae, with her band and a symphony orchestra, will be performing on Saturday 18th July 2009. Tickets £29.50 (subject to booking fee) go on sale at 9.00am Friday 28th November 2008.
